A New Season

From the beginning, the heart of Delightful Table has been simple: to create a safe space for women to delight in God and experience meaningful community.
Over the years, that heart has taken shape in different ways. We started with special evening experiences—our Intimate Gatherings—designed to bring women of all ages together around tables to connect and grow. These evenings were beautiful, sacred, and memorable, yet we realized something important was missing: continued community beyond that single night.
In response, we created “After the Table” groups to give a little more structure for women to keep walking together after the event. These groups were a step in the right direction, and we saw the potential to help women grow more intentionally over time.
We launched a clear path to involvement at The Gathering event at Eberley Brooks in Fall 2024. But in December, it became clear that we needed to pause the ministry.
This pause, although challenging in many ways, made room for God to refine us and clarify the direction for the future. In the last 12 months, we have been reminded that delighting in God is not only about emotion—it is about knowledge. “The heart cannot love what the mind does not know.”
We are more convinced than ever that true delight in God is found through studying His Word in community. Because of this, we are inviting you into a nine-month discipleship journey to confidently study Scripture with us.
Why the Shift
Delightful Table has always wanted women to delight in God. But we’ve realized that true delight comes from knowledge. Studies show that pleasure develops as we learn more about the object of our delight. We can’t delight in God without knowing Him through His Word.
Opening the Bible alone can feel intimidating. Where do you start? What do you read? How do you interpret it accurately? Our new season is designed to equip women with the tools to confidently approach Scripture, learn its truths, and grow in delight and understanding.
We want to create space where women can study the Word together, grow in biblical literacy, and experience life-giving community. This is the heart behind our discipleship groups and resources.
What’s Coming
Committed Discipleship Groups
Small groups designed to help women grow in knowing God and walking with Him together.
Each group will be guided by a trained leader and focused on building meaningful, lasting community.
Groups meet twice a month to explore Scripture, practice spiritual habits, and encourage one another in daily life.
Resources and Support
Delightful Table will provide practical tools, tips, and guidance to help women study Scripture, deepen their faith, and delight in God every day.
These resources are available to anyone who wants to grow, whether in a group or individually through our social media platforms.
